Refurbishment and extension of an existing sheltered housing development in Kirkwall to provide affordable housing. The scheme includes extending the existing footprint vertically with the addition of first floor flats over existing single storey buildings. Untreated Timber Cladding was specified for the extended building sections to compliment the existing natural stone external walls.
