Pentarq were asked to analyse and propose a strategic design for North Highland College campus, to rationalise siting proposals for a major engineering training building being designed by civil engineers, and to accommodate a new 'Centre for Energy and the Environment' that would be operated by the College's Environmental Research Institute. The scope of the study expanded to include design proposals for the new 'CFEE' building, for which Planning Permission was secured and a 'Design and Build' tender obtained and contract let.
