The Groatie Hoose, Kirkwall

The relocation of Robert Garden’s Summerhouse (alternatively known as the Groatie Hoose or the Pirate Gow Folly) from its original position to the garden in Tankerness House Gardens, Kirkwall.
The Groatie Hoose project has deservedly received two awards to date:
- The Dynamic Place Awards in 2005 : Commended in their Built Environment Category
- A Mention in the 2007 Civic Trust Awards
